A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words! Wolfgang Puck Iced Coffee Launches New Label

Wolfgang Puck Iced Coffee's New Labels

Woodway Beverage Partners, LLC, the company behind Wolfgang Puck Iced Coffee (WPIC) is excited to release the newly designed label of the famed chef’s line of organic bottled iced coffees.  The new label features Chef Puck’s photo and new vibrant colors which help the product visually jump off the shelf.

“We are proud to say that no other iced coffee has a highly respected, recognizable chef behind it, which sets WPIC apart from other brands,” says Woodway President Craig Lieberman. Created in the Spago kitchen by Chef Puck himself, WPIC comes in four enticing flavors including Cafe Au Lait, Creme Caramel, Vanilla Fusion, and Double Mocha. With only 120 calories per bottle, it is lower in calories than similar products and is cold brewed to reduce the bitter taste traditional hot brewed coffee can have. It is also organic and kosher…all in one recyclable bottle.

The product’s Facebook fans were instrumental in providing information Woodway took into consideration when redesigning the label. Communicating online has proven extremely effective in creating familiarity and sales for the product. Fans appreciate seeing Chef Puck and the product’s attributes featured more prominently.

Lieberman adds, “WPIC crosses over into many demographics including grab-n-go products for students, mothers on the run, women who want a lesser calorie count without giving up the taste, the working crowd who prefer an authentic, refreshing iced coffee, people who crave healthier, organic products…we hit about every group of iced coffee lovers out there.”

Since WPIC’s Southern California launch in 2009, it has experienced major expansion and may now be found in the Nature’s Market section at Kroger, Smith’s, King Soopers, Fry’s, City Market; The Fresh Markets nationwide; Houston’s Rice Epicurean Markets; in Southern California at Whole Foods, select CVS drug stores, Bristol Farms, and Wolfgang Puck locations at LAX airport. Additionally, WPIC will soon be available in New York’s metro area through Mitchell’s NY, Beverage Universe online and specialty food retailers.

Wolfgang Puck Iced Coffee Set For Major U.S. Expansion

BEVERLY HILLS, California – After its initial 2009 launch in Beverly Hills, Wolfgang Puck Iced Coffee (WPIC) is Eastbound, rolling into The Fresh Market stores and Kroger, who will offer it through their Natural Foods Sections.  Additionally, WPIC will now be made available through New York’s specialty food retailers.

The popularity of Wolfgang Puck’s beverage is due to burgeoning interest in iced coffee within the US, along with tremendous support by consumers who view the product as a healthier alternative to other ready-to-drink iced coffee offerings.  Media, including The Huffington Post and a lucky posting on the Hungry Girl website, with over 1,000,000 subscribers, have helped bring the product to the forefront in its category. Consumption of iced coffee in the US continues to grow with more than 1.2 billion servings in 2010 – up 6% over the previous year, according to Wall Street Journal (Aug, 2010).

A collaberation between Chef Wolfgang Puck and Woodway Beverage Partners, LLC, WPIC was created in the kitchen of Spago Beverly Hills by Puck and his Executive Pastry Chef Sherry Yard.  Wolfgang Puck’s iced coffee is made using a cold brewed process that reduces tannins and the bitter taste often found in hot brewed drinks.  It’s also organic, kosher and only 120 calories per bottle.  Current flavors are Vanilla Fusion, Double Blend Mocha, Creme Caramel and Cafe Au Lait.

“I am passionate about coffee and extremely proud of our product…it’s a wonderful drink and it’s great that more people will be able to enjoy it now,” said Chef Puck.

Craig Lieberman, President of Woodway Beverage Partners, adds, “The timing for the national rollout is perfect as summer is a prime time for bottled coffee drinks.  We’re receiving validation from consumers that Chef Puck has created a terrific, low fat beverage which is a welcome alternative to the overly sweet or bitter taste found in other packaged coffee drinks.”

In June, look for single bottles and four packs of Wolfgang Puck Iced Coffee in the organic sections of The Fresh Markets, Kroger, Smith’s Food, King Soopers, City Markets, Fry’s, Dillons, Rice Epicurean Markets and in Southern California Whole Foods, select CVS stores, Henry’s Farmers Markets, Bristol Farms, Jimbo’s and Wolfgang Puck Express Cafes.  For store locations please visit www.wolfgangpuckicedcoffee.com or find information on Wolfgang Puck at www.wolfgangpuck.com.

“Really, Really Delicious”

WPIC was recently featured in The Tasting Panel Magazine in a section devoted to “The Best in New, Non-Alc and Neat-o.”  The author writes, “the WP Iced coffees are sweet, smooth and creamy, and we’ll be happy to have them once the thermometer hits 100 degrees and we still need our caffeine fix.”
