For all of the couples enjoying a romantic Valentine’s Day meal at home, Wolfgang Puck Culinary Iced CoffeeÔ is a great ingredient for the perfect sweet ending to the holiday meal. The chef’s new retail line of iced coffees are all organic, only 120 calories per bottle and the inspiration behind delicious cocktails and desserts of all kinds such as his special Mocha Coffee Truffles and Siberian Espresso cocktail.
“I think that cooking a special meal for or with your sweetheart is so romantic. Getting people in the kitchen has always been one of my passions, and I have found that my new iced coffee is a great ingredient in so many recipes – the perfect way to end a meal,” said Chef Wolfgang Puck.
To make Wolfgang’s signature Mocha Coffee Truffles, simply follow these instructions:
Place six ounces of 64% bittersweet chocolate, chopped fine, in a medium mixing bowl. In a small saucepan, whisk together the Wolfgang Puck Double Blend Mocha and one tablespoon of corn syrup and bring to a simmer. Remove the mixture from heat, pour over the prepared chocolate and whisk until smooth. Pour out onto a cookie sheet wrapped in plastic wrap, top with more plastic wrap directly touching chocolate mixture and place in a cool room for fours hours. Use a scoop and portion out ½ oz balls. Let them sit for two hours until firm enough to roll between the palms of your hands into perfect balls, then toss the balls in a bowl with ¼ cup of cocoa powder.
